Membership
in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) honors and preserves
the legacy of your Patriot ancestor. Over two hundred years ago,
American Patriots fought and sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy
today. As a member of DAR, through participation in the Society's
various programs and activities, you can continue this legacy by
actively supporting historic preservation, promotion of education, and
patriotic endeavors.
Any
woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of
age and can prove lineal bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided
in achieving American independence. She must provide documentation for
each statement of birth, marriage, and death.
Membership
is by invitation only, so if you would like to honor the memory of your
Patriot ancestor through supporting the principles of the National
Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution please contact us. We
would love to have you as our
guest!

(Please note:
DAR is
not a registry listing for women who descend from those who gave aid or
served in the Revolution. It is a group of members who support the
National goals of Patriotic endeavor, the preservation of history (not
to be confused with the National Parks Historic Preservation and the
Historic Register) and education at all levels. While
we encourage serious inquiries into
membership, we cannot provide genealogical information.)
